Marissa is a social entrepreneur and passionate advocate for the self-determination of historically disenfranchised communities. She brings to years of experience in community building and leadership in the social sector across the areas of social entrepreneurship, public policy, nonprofit development, and law. She received her Master's in Public Policy, with a concentration in social and urban policy, from Harvard Kennedy School. She originally hails from Kingston, Jamaica, and in her free time is an avid singer, traveler, a mean cook, Co-President of Harvard Kennedy School's Black Alumni Association and a member of Harvard Alumni sprung Hive Global Leaders Community.
